Filmmakers; you’re going to get your own copyright registration bundle!!

Okay, so I was telling you the other day about the impending release of our FREE copyright banner notice, that’ll be available to all our clients who’ve registered their work?

Well, we’re not just working on that. (Which explains why I’m being diverted away from this blog right now.)

Since we re-launched the duly noted® website and services back in November, our new copyright bundles have become increasingly popular among our clients. So it’s been only a matter of time before we added another bundle to the available list of creative categories we service at duly registered (in case you have seen, the current list is; musicians, writers, artists/photographers, webmasters, podcasters).

This new bundle will be the Filmmakers Filmography bundle.

I’ve got to say I’m especially pleased with this bundle, as – coming from a filmmaking background myself – I know how much copyrightable material a filmmaker/prod co can produce just for one film. There’s not just the film itself, but the trailer(s), its audio soundtrack, the shooting script, storyboards, publicity materials (artwork, posters, one sheets, stills, press copy etc.), the electronic press kit, the making of doco(s)…

See? Quite a lot to be registering right there. And our bundle will allow you to file the lot with us at a very reasonable one-time rate. As they’d say on The Fast Show; “Nice!”

Testing is imminent, and I’m itching to start playing with our new bundle.

Plus – as with our other creative categories, and in keeping with our commitment build an info and resources base to help our clients be as informed and empowered as possible, filmmakers will be provided their own industry-specific links page too. It’ll save you the time of trawling the web for all those associations, guilds, networks and talent pools you’ll need to get your project up, running and out there. As they’d say on The Fast Show; “Really great!”
