The duly noted® blog

For the past months many of you who’ve visited the duly noted® main site may have wondered what’s been going on with our blog page, which – when clicked on – doggedly promised a blog would be coming soon (honest!) and nothing more. 

Truth to tell, and if you’re a regular reader you already know, we had a blog going.  It’s just it wasn’t where it should have been. 

It’s been one of those little “we’ll do it later” jobs we’ve promised ourselves we’d get round to; mainly as we thought actually getting a blog going first would be the smart approach!  It’s been a weird arrangement these past months; kind of like setting up a concession stand across town from the main office.  The blog’s been so detached; out in the cold, and away from the fun and games and the coffee machine gossip.  Not entirely the best arrangement, I’ll admit. 

Well, problemo solved!  Yes friends, as of this morning – and to continue the analogy – our concession stand blog has taken up residence back at the main office reception hall.  That is, the official duly noted^® site.  The builders have slapped on a lick of paint and over the weekend we shipped across our cases and tea crates.  We could have had a flash graphic of a flag flying to show we’d taken up residence, rather like the Queen when she’s at home in Buckingham Palace, but in the nick of time we decided that would’ve been tacky. 

So what’s new with the blog then?  Let me show you round… You’ll immediately notice the our “Services” and “Your NOTED!” tabs above.  They take you, respectively; back to the dn main site, and the login page if you’ve previously signed up to use our services.  Much more convenient we’re sure you’ll agree.  (A little warmer too, closer to home, no doubt about it.)  There’s also an “About us” hyperlink to the right there.  See it?  I cannot tell you how long we’ve been wanting that page up.  (Does anyone else find blog dashboards a tad incomprehensible at times…?)  All in all these new features should now explain who we are…in case you’ve been wondering!  Ah yes, I like the new home. Still….I’m thinking we should maybe get the decorators in again…
