Copyright Banner usage update
Monday, June 11th, 2007So the year is stepping up a gear and moving into high summer, while we here in duly noted® towers have to open the windows to keep the temperature down while we generate our own heat gabbing away and furiously tapping away at our keyboards. Yes, it’s that time again when we periodically take a look at how things are going and brainstorm what more we can do for you, and improve on what we’re doing now. That’s why the last few weeks I’ve been a little quiet. Did you miss me? ;o)

Anyways, since we launched it back in March, the duly noted® copyright banner (you can see an example at duly registeredTM) is showing up in more and more places on the web, as our clients make good use of it to let people know about their copyright. The latest client to tell us where they’ve posted it is Karen Rouse; a playwright and screenwriter.
Karen has two eBooks of her plays available at Lulu.com; Following Yago, and Ordinary World, and it’s there she uses the free banner on her page to let people know about her work being registered. You can see her page and read samples of her work at: www.lulu.com/karenrouse.
We’re always interested to know from our clients how they’re using their banners, so drop us a line if you’re using it to help make your rights known. And if you haven’t downloaded yours yet… what are you waiting for? Simply access the details of your copyright registration from your personal Your NOTED! member’s page. It is there waiting for you; pre-generated and free of charge. All you do is simply save it to an appropriate folder on your computer (we suggest keeping it in the same folder as the work it relates to). Now you’re ready to go!
