[JB's note: this comment about my post has a link directly to the URL to which they refer, so I was unable to contact the commenter for further info about who "Mr Leydon" and "John Barry" were (as it seems to be correspondence between the two) to provide a little more context for readers of this comment, so if James Boland can get in touch with me I'd appreciate it. Nonetheless, I thought it worth letting readers see this.]

Maybe readers and author might like to look at this web site and enjoy the pictures of Jimmy Page enjoying his shopping and purchases in a Japanese Bootleg Record shop.

Mr Leydon

Many outlets within the Media were quick to report about the jailing of a Music `Bootlegger` recently and a case where Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin gave evidence condeming the Bootlegger (s).

Your story was also printed on these pages.

Firstly Jimmy Page is probably the biggest collector of Lez Zeppelin Bootlegs known to still be breathing but that is neither here nor there. I thought maybe in the name of fair and balanced journalism, you would care to look at this page (no pun intented), where Mr Page visits (as he has MANY times previously, not just 2003 & 2004) a Bootleg shop in Tokyo and poses for pictures with his Bootlegs and indeed purchases some Marc Bolan Bootlegs among other items.

Some people live by double standards and shameful hypocrisy. Mr Page is clearly one of them.

Regards

John Barry, London.

The hypocrisy of the man in light of the recent court `case` is simply shocking beyond words.
